Physical Therapy Rehabilitation

Physical therapy is the act of performing therapeutic exercises targeted to help restore strength, flexibility, endurance and overall improved of a specific region in the body. Therapy is prescribed to patients who suffer from neuro-musculoskeletal pain (pain from nerves, muscle, joints, bones, tendons, and ligaments) whether it’s from: surgery, recent trauma such as a work injury or a motor vehicle accident, poor body mechanics, or pain from advancement in age. Exercises help to stimulate circulation, stabilize joints, improve posture and improve proprioception (balance) to help decrease falls in the elder population.
